ICNWA (Industry Capability Network, Western Australia) which manages the ABDWA (Aboriginal Business Directory of WA) is relaunching their enhanced directory which links it to direct work opportunities on its new Regional/Indigenous Opportunities page. The ABDWA is used and referred to by the Department of Finance for state government agencies (as well as private organisations) to procure from Indigenous businesses. Attend this workshop to learn handy hints, tips and advice, helping you make the best of your ABDWA company profile and supporting you to maximise opportunities for winning work.
Also joining us for this event is the Wirra Hub. The Wirra Hub, part of the Wirrpanda Foundation, supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people wanting to start, grow or sustain their businesses. Their business coaches can assess what stage you’re at in the business life-cycle and identify the exact type of commercial advice you need. Join us to hear more about their free services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Shane Devitt - General Manager, Wirra Hub
Shane is a descendant of the Nganyaywana people from the New England Tablelands in NSW. Shane has over 30 years of big four accounting firm experience in providing Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Controls Advisory services. Shane was a founding partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Indigenous Consulting.
Ray Loh - Manager, ICNWA
Ray Loh has extensive experience with the supply chain industry having supplied to clients in the industry during his time at an SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) as well as working on major projects at ICNWA (Industry Capability Network WA). He currently heads up ICNWA which manages the ABDWA (Aboriginal Business Directory WA) directory.
Luke Paterson - Partner, Jackson McDonald
Luke is a commercial and corporate lawyer with a particular focus on Indigenous business, transactions and private business. Luke works closely with our Indigenous business clients in the establishment and structuring of their businesses, advising on joint ventures, alliances and procurement, advising on governance issues and ongoing commercial contracts. Among other things, Luke has experience in the creation of numerous joint ventures with Indigenous organisations regarding agribusiness, civil and mining works and mining camp and facilities management.
