Wirra Hub client Delly Stokes is one half of the Yabu Band, an Indigenous Rock Roots Band he fronts with his brother. Since joining the Wirra Hub as a client, Delly has been assisted by business coach Raylene, admitting that with her help his eyes have been opened to a whole new world of business.

To celebrate Indigenous Business Month, the Wirra Hub in partnership with Curtin University hosted the Deadly Business Conference: Boorda Bidi. The event brought together Indigenous business leaders, industry experts and entrepreneurs, as speakers focussed on how businesses can forge new tracks towards economic recovery from COVID-19.
This year, the Wirrpanda Foundation established the WA Indigenous Business and Employment Hub, known as the Wirra Hub. The Hub supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Western Australia who want to start, grow or sustain their business, and connects corporates with Indigenous businesses or job seekers.
As part of the Wirra Hub’s commitment to providing support to Aboriginal businesses located in regional Western Australia, the Hub has commenced a series of Pop Up Regional Hubs to assist the service of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses outside the Perth metro region.
Wirra Hub is encouraging Indigenous enterprises to list on the new-look Aboriginal Business Directory WA to take advantage of attractive State Government procurement terms offered as a COVID-19 stimulus measure.
